PA ~ When did you take up your artistry and how long have you been involved with it?

I started playing flamenco guitar in 1980, 26 years ago.I had seen Pepe Habichuela play in a club called Don Quixote in Canada. I followed him to Spain and studied with him for 3 years.

PA ~ Musically, how would you describe your sound/genre?

The only way I describe my music is FLAMENCO but you will find me in New Age or Latin.

PA ~ What gravitated you toward your artistic work?

I am a descendent of people from Malaga, in Andalucia, the birthplace of flamenco.

PA ~ Who are your influenced by?

Paco de lucia, Sabicas and Pepe Habichuela.

PA ~ I understand you have 6 CD's  and a  DVD, what is the listener / viewer in store for?

The viewer or listener is in for authentic flamenco music and dance with north African influences .

PA ~ How are they being received?

My latest CD, NOCHE FLAMENCA has had amazing reviews in Spain, Germany, England and Latin America.

PA ~ Will you be touring to promote your music?

Yes I tour Europe and North America every year.

PA ~ Any other projects or follow ups in the works presently?

Currently I am working on a flamenco mass. Requiem for a dead Gipsy for guitar, orchestra and choir.

PA ~ Do you perform solo or normally with a group?

I perform, solo, with a trio and with a dance company of six dancers.

PA ~ What would someone expect attending one of your shows?

90 min. of traditional flamenco music and dance. A wild night in Spain.

PA ~ During your artistic journey so far, any interesting (funny, bizarre, highlight, nightmare etc...) stories come to mind you'd like to share with us?

I was hired by Russell Crowe to play a party for a good friend of his, Sting.! Best night of my life.

PA ~ Give us your thoughts on the indie music scene good and not so good.

Since the Internet, it has been awesome for me. I sell CD's all over the world now.
