PA ~ When did you take up your artistry and how long have you been involved with it?

SA ~ I started playing when I was a teenager...didn't seriously take it up until the year 2000 and have been active ever since.

PA ~ Musically, how would you describe your sound/genre?

SA ~ Hard Rock/Metal/Acoustic Guitar Instrumentals

PA ~ What gravitated you toward your artistic work ?

SA ~ I just like to make Music; relieves the stress of everyday life.

PA ~ Who are your influenced by?

SA ~ Ted Nugent, Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie Montrose, Leslie West

PA ~ I understand you have two CD's out called "Snake Eyes" and "Code Red" ; what is the listener / viewer in store for?

SA ~ Hard Rock/Metal Guitar Instrumental Ear Kandy.... =D

PA ~ How are the CD'sbeing received?

SA ~ I've sold a good many, but nothing that is going to turn this into a career, that's for sure.

PA ~ Do you have a favorite composition on either CD?

SA ~ "Howl At Tha Moon" on "Snake Eyes" would probably be my favorite piece....had a ton of fun doing it.

PA ~ Will you be touring?

SA ~ No.

PA ~ Any other projects or follow ups in the works presently?

SA ~ I have another CD that is on the lighter side which is unreleased at this time called "Times Gone By"; it's a collection of Acoustic Instrumentals I've done over the years.

PA ~ Do you perform solo or normally with a group?

SA ~ Whatever the occasion calls for....I generally just Jamm with buddies at local venues.

PA ~ Do you perform outside of your hometown?

SA ~ No.

PA ~ During your artistic journey so far, any interesting (funny, bizarre, highlight, nightmare etc...) stories come to mind you'd like to share with us?

SA ~ Not really, unless you count the occasional jealous rant from washed-up, has-been artists who want to discredit you because they think you are doing better than they are, and you are.  To me, that is funny as hell and a real ego booster....not to mention the free pub they are giving you.

PA ~ Give us your thoughts on the indie music scene good and not so good.

SA ~ I believe the Indie scene is taking off like a ROCKET!!!

There are so many good Indie bands/Artists out there now it's hard to keep up with them all....and a LOT of them are better than what you buy at the local CD shop on major labels by far.

PA ~ How is the artistic scene in Meridian evolving?

SA ~ Slowly...this IS the Deep South, you know!!! =D

PA ~ What has the highlight of your career been?

SA ~ Having my tune "Crying In The Rain" selected by Al "MIG" MacFarland for inclusion in his feature tragic/comedy film "Feral Autumn", which should be released soon.

PA ~ What are some goals you hope to accomplish in the future?

SA ~ Make more money!!!  And take more vacations!!!

PA ~ What are your other interests outside of music?

SA ~ College Football....love it.

PA ~ What was the best piece of advice you ever heard that motivates you in pursuit of your artistry?

SA ~ Don't Half-Ass anything you do; do it or don't.
