Good time acoustic based indie folk rock.

Kinks, Cracker, Velvet Underground, Pixies, Stones.
PA ~ I understand you have a CD called "Listen and Learn with the Heise Bros." , what is the listener in store for?
An intimate little about about our family friends, with a touch of sass.
PA ~ How is the CD being received?
Well so far, a lot of Lou Reed comparisons or Acoustic Dinosaur Jr. which i will take as a compliment.

Yeah the Lou Reed, VU comparisons because i think Lou is good.

Not right now.
PA ~ What would someone expect attending one of your shows?
A lot of laughs.
PA ~ Do you perform outside of your hometown?
We have, we've conquered 5 of the 50 states, so 45 to go.
PA ~ During your artistic journey so far, any interesting (funny, bizarre, highlight, nightmare etc...) stories come to mind you'd like to >share with us?
I think the whole 12 years have been funny, bizarre, highlight, nightmare, etc. But we have witnessed peopel dry humping to our >performance and i have been beaten up on stage.
PA ~ Give us your thoughts on the indie music scene good and not so good.
Indifferent is my thoughts, i review records and try to be involved with musicians and i think there is a lot of self involved people making music and nobody tries about support a scene. I just dig music and hate competition, and i think there is too much competition and not enough support, but those are my thoughts.
PA ~ How is the artistic scene in (Minneapolis) evolving?
It will be big again, with the replacements 2.
PA ~ What has the highlight of your career been?
Opening for Jonathan Richman.
PA ~ What are some goals you hope to accomplish in the future?
Being rich, or just making another 10 albums, we already have 10 recorded.
PA ~ What are your other interests outside of music?
Books, movies and i'm working on the great American novel.
PA ~ What was the best piece of advice you ever heard that motivates you in pursuit of your artistry?
Only play music because you love it, not because you expect to be famous for it.
